The platform is the system underneath: live availability, real inventory, a single booking surface across operators, hosts, and cities. We're building it so that a cultural immersion in Tunis is as easy to put on a calendar as a long weekend anywhere else.
We don't run a conveyor belt. Every Weekend Special is hosted by people who live in the city — the gallerist, the chef, the producer who knows whose set is worth staying up for. That's not a feature. It's the whole point.
Weekend Specials is operated jointly by Creative Travel Africa and Mpinji Expeditions — two companies with deep on-the-ground networks across the continent. Bookings, payments, and on-trip logistics run through them. Weekend Specials is the brand and the platform you book through.
